PHASE METHOD MEASUREMENT CAPACITANCE CABLES

Abstract. In the article methods of measurement of capacity are considered. It is possible to draw a conclusion, that measurement can be executed by any of the considered methods. The peculiarity of measurement lies in the fact that during manufacture, on stages of drawing the isolation, a cable has no own capacity as such. During manufacturing process experimental researches are made using the primary device capacitance meter cable. Construction of this sensor is a hollow tube filled with water, and the cable with a wire with insulation. Research shows the method of measuring the capacitance of the cable and lists the advantages of this method. Also on the basis of the analysis of methods the block diagram of a measuring instrument of cable capacity is developed.
