Abstract. The article examines the main applications of microwave nondestructive testing and technical diagnostics and implemented on the basis of their means: thickness gauges, moisture meters, vibrometers, speedometers and flaw and structuroscopes the visualization of images. The results of the use of microwave techniques, including the terahertz range, in the perspective towards the creation of an anti-terror funds based on GPR and UWB technologies. The material specific images illustrated, including serial devices.
